PREMIUM TOBACCO MALAWI LIMITED VACANCY FOR VARIOUS SEASONAL POSITIONS - LEAF SALES Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the following Vacant Seasonal positions for 2025 Season: 1. LEAF CLASSIFIER The successful candidates will be responsible for: >Classifying tobacco at the floors >Supervision of Leaf Checkers and Ticket Tracers. >Appeal on TC arbitration cases >Classify tobacco during processing in the factory. QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES Applications must have the following qualifications and attributes: •Certificate/Diploma in any related field >Between 25-35 years of age. >Team player, innovative, highly disciplined and good communication skills. >Those with five years' experience in tobacco classification will have an added advantage. • Computer literate. 2. TRAINEE LEAF CLASSIFIER The successful candidates will be assisting the Leaf Classifiers in: >Classifying tobacco at the floors • Supervision of Leaf Checkers and Ticket Tracers. >Appeal on TC arbitration cases >Classifying tobacco during processing in the factory. QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES Applications must have the following qualifications and attributes: >Certificate/Diploma in any related field • Between 25-35 years of age. •Team player, innovative, highly disciplined, and good communication skills. >Those with five years' experience in tobacco classification will have an added advantage. •Computer literate. 3. LEAF CHECKER The successful candidates will be responsible for: >Checking of tobacco at the floors and factory during buying and processing. >Supervision of Ticket Tracers. >Any other duties. QUALIFICATIONS, COMPETENCIES AND ATTRIBUTES >MSCE >Team player, innovative, highly disciplined and good communication skills. >Those with three years' experience in tobacco checking and sorting will have an added advantage. >Between 25 and 35 years. 4. TICKET TRACER The successful candidates will be responsible for: >Tracing of tobacco bales at the floors >Quality control of tobacco bales at the floors QUALIFICATIONS, COMPETENCIES AND ATTRIBUTES >MSCE >Between 20 to 30 years of age REMUNERATION Premium Tobacco Malawi Limited offers an attractive compensation package commensurate with qualifications and experience.
