Tomorrow, the leadership of the Lesotho Football Association (LeFA) will appear before the Disciplinary and Protests Committee (DISPROCO), the countryβs lower football court, to face one of their own, Mr. Khiba Mohoanyane, who currently serves as the president of DIFA Leribe.
LeFA has charged Mr. Mohoanyane, accusing him of taking football matters to a court of law during the LeFA elective congress in November 2024.
Speaking to Lesotho Soccersector, Mr. Mohoanyane stated that he would be legally represented by his lawyer in the case. He further expressed his astonishment, emphasizing that he had never taken the matter to a court of law, nor was there any judgment or case number proving he had brought the Association into disrepute.
He clarified that he had only consulted his lawyers after the National Executive Committee (NEC) nullified his nomination just hours before the elective congress.
The hearing will take place before DISPROCO, a tribunal organized by LeFA at the headquarters of the Association on Thursday this week.
