The PLMC stated that the primary sponsor, Vodacom, explicitly informed them that this constitutes ambush marketing, given the company's significant investment in the league. As a result, the LCS FC venue will be ineligible to host Premier League matches until the issue is resolved. Before the Christmas holiday break, LCS and the PLMC confirmed that the venue was likely to be used, as discussions between the parties suggested they were in agreement.
