Bonds and FX markets may be shut on Saturday, but traders and fund managers are keenly watching for two figures: gross market borrowings and fiscal deficit. The benchmark 10-year bond may rise if the borrowings come in lower-than-expected, in an environment where there is demand for bonds on the back of index inclusion, a growing insurance and pensions sector, and now with the Reserve Bank of India purchasing debt.
