Chris Roos & Associates do not litigate. Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated entry-level Legal Advisor to join our growing team. This position offers a unique opportunity for a recent law graduate or an early-career legal professional to gain hands-on experience in engineering and construction law, working on complex contracts, risk assessments, and dispute resolution. Key Responsibilities: *Assist in reviewing, drafting, and interpreting FIDIC, NEC, JBCC, and GCC contracts. *Conduct legal research on construction law, engineering regulations, and procurement frameworks. *Provide support in contract administration, risk management, and claims assessment. *Assist in dispute resolution and adjudication processes. *Engage with clients, contractors, and consultants to provide practical legal guidance on project and contractual-related issues. *Stay updated on legislative changes affecting the engineering and construction sectors. Qualifications: *LLB degree. *Clerical experience working in a law firm is advantageous but not mandatory. *A strong interest in construction and engineering law and in alternative dispute resolution (adjudication/arbitration). *Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills. *Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. *Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team. *Self-driven and willingness to learn.
