*THE EUROPEAN UNION VS THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO: What can the Democratic Republic of Congo expect from it?* The European Union (EU) is a political and economic union bringing together 27 European and non-African countries. Its objectives include promoting peace, security and prosperity for the citizens of the 27 countries that make it up. So, what can the Democratic Republic (DRC) expect from this organization? Are African problems its concern? No, we should not have any illusions. The European Union collaborates with African countries not for the well-being of African citizens. This relationship is purely business-oriented, with unequal relations. It is the member countries of the European Union that always win. The European Union functions as a single market, allowing the free movement of goods, services and people from the 27 member countries. And also has a single currency, the Euro. It is true that the European Union advocates values such as freedom, security and social justice. It also aims to protect the environment and promote scientific and technological progress, for the benefit of the 27 member countries only. To achieve its objectives, the EU uses certain African countries, such as Rwanda. It is true that the European Union is the largest trading bloc in the world. It is the interests of these members that count first. It is the world's leading exporter of manufactured goods and services and the largest import market for more than 100 countries. Free trade between its members is one of the founding principles of the EU. This is possible thanks to the single market. Dear compatriots, the European Union supports Rwanda for its good cause. That is to say for its economic interests in Central Africa. The 27 countries that make it up need minerals from the Democratic Republic of Congo for the scientific and technological development of the 27 countries that make it up. And to obtain them, these 27 countries that make it up go through Rwanda, the commissioner. This is what justifies the financial and logistical support of the EU to Rwanda. The majority of multinational companies are donors to the EU. Dear compatriots, Congolese men and women, let us leave intellectual obscurantism and think differently to defend our homeland, the Democratic Republic of Congo. We must tackle the interests of the EU in Africa. Of course we are still weak, but together let us turn our eyes towards competitors of the European Union in order to create balance. Of course, it is not easy. It takes courage. We must fight unbalanced globalization. This is why, in this time that runs in the Democratic Republic of Congo, a democratic dictatorship is necessary to consolidate a strong leadership and integrate Congolese patriots into a political system of defense adapted to the resistance in order to build a strong and dissuasive State.
