Shaʿbān Series—9 Completing Thirty Days of Shaʿbān in Cloudy Weather Abū Hurayrah, may Allāh be pleased with him, narrated saying: The Messenger of Allāh, may Allāh raise his rank and grant him peace, said: ❝If you sight the crescent (of Ramaḍān), then start fasting. And when you sight it again (for Shawwāl), then break your fast (celebrate ʿĪd).
