In the battle between the Kingdom of God and the kingdom of darkness, when the children of God are always saturated with the presence of God, the enemy would be afraid to touch them or even come near them. Devil fears God's presence in the life of a child of God, this is because His presence is a consuming fire, hence, neither the Devil nor his agents can attempt to come near the blazing fire of God. The primary goal of the Devil is to disconnect us from God's presence in order to render us defenceless and powerless, but we cannot allow that to happen. Let us acknowledge His presence always and strive to keep the fire burning by involving ourselves in the basic spiritual disciplines and avoiding every form of entanglement with the Devil, sin and worldliness. In this ongoing spiritual battle, we are victorious in Christ alone. Never forget that!
