One of the beautiful names of Allah is Al-Muqaddim & Al-Mu'akhir - the one who brings forward & the one who wisely delay. When you wish for something to happen sooner, or later, remember that Allah knows when is the best time for it to happen - if He wills for it to happen at all We might feel like something happened too quickly, or another thing should have happened already, whether these are small situations or life-changing events such as having children or losing a loved one, getting married, but Allah SWT knows the bigger picture & has chosen this advancement or delay specifically for us, in our unique situation, so that we may grow closer to Him & be blessed in ways that we would never imagine, alhamdulillah.
