Create detailed test plans and scenarios based on system requirements. Organize and classify bugs based on business priorities. Use defect-tracking tools to document and manage bugs. Regularly report on the health of the product, providing metrics and insights. Use analytics tools to generate comprehensive reports for data-driven decisions. Interface with internal teams (developers, product managers) and external stakeholders to understand and address issues. Ensure effective communication and collaboration. Document issues clearly, concisely, and in detail. Maintain various types of test documentation, including test cases and test reports. Diagnose and understand the root causes of problems at a technical level. Identify whether issues stem from the front end, API, backend, or database. Perform thorough manual testing of the front end using the UI and backend testing using APIs. Focus on understanding the user experience and uncover scenarios automated tests may overlook. Develop and maintain automated test scripts for both the UI and APIs using tools like Cypress or Postman. Develop a deep understanding of complex enterprise software systems. o Have knowledge of SDLC processes and Agile/DevOps methodologies. Requirements 1-2 years of experience performing manual testing for SaaS products is a must. Proficient in testing software products in web browsers, mobile browsers, and mobile native apps (iOS and Android). Experience working in an Agile environment. Proficient in software testing concepts and implementation. Knowledge of Bug life cycle, Release Plan, Smoke/Sanity Testing, and Defect Triage. Should have used repositories for Bugs and test case management tools. Proficient in functional testing, regression testing, and performance testing. Basic knowledge of API testing. ISTQB Certification will be an added advantage. Prior experience in Automation testing - any one tool for UI and any one tool for API. Excellent communication and writing skills.
