ASELSAN MURAD 100-A AESA Radar Completes First Flight Aboard Bayraktar AKINCI 🇹🇷 The ASELSAN MURAD 100-A Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar has successfully completed its maiden flight aboard the Bayraktar AKINCI Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicle (UCAV), marking a significant advancement in Turkiye’s indigenous radar capabilities. The MURAD 100-A, developed by ASELSAN, is a state-of-the-art AESA radar system designed to enhance air combat and surveillance capabilities for both manned and unmanned platforms. The system employs Gallium Nitride (GaN) technology, ensuring high power efficiency, extended operational range, and resistance to electronic countermeasures. During the flight test, the MURAD 100-A demonstrated its multi-mode functionality, conducting air-to-air and air-to-ground operations.
