Over 9 years after the #andhrapradesh Metropolitan Region & Urban Development Authorities Act came into force, the @ncbn-led government today finally constituted the Unified #metropolitan #transport Authority for #visakhapatnam. Big step, as the city is aspiring for a #metro #rail soon. Municipal Administration and Urban Development Department Principal Secretary will be the Chairman of the UMTA that will have 19 other members.
