"Understanding Dharma"
What is Dharma? Most people think it just means religion — but it's so much more than that
Dharma is the path of righteousness, the cosmic law that holds the universe together. It's about doing the right thing, even when no one is watching.
Remember when Arjuna was confused on the battlefield? Lord Krishna reminded him that following his Dharma as a warrior was essential for the greater good
"श्रेयान् स्वधर्मो विगुणः परधर्मात् स्वनुष्ठितात्।
स्वधर्मे निधनं श्रेयः परधर्मो भयावहः॥"
("It is better to fail in one’s own Dharma than to succeed in the Dharma of another. Following your own path brings peace; someone else's brings fear." — Bhagavad Gita 3.35)
Dharma changes based on your role — as a parent, student, or leader. The key is to act without selfish desires and align your life with truth and compassion.
Understand your Dharma, and you'll find your true purpose. Follow for more ancient wisdom.
