Shri Rajiv Ranjan Singh, Hon'ble Union Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying and Panchayati Raj, GoI, addressed the 14th Asian Fisheries and Aquaculture Forum themed 'Greening the Blue Growth in Asia Pacific', being held from February 12th - 15th, 2025, at NASC Complex, Pusa, New Delhi. In his address, he highlighted the fisheries sector's role in food security and the challenges posed by climate change. He emphasized that India is progressing towards a Blue Economy and called for collaborative efforts from governments, researchers and stakeholders to strengthen the sector sustainably.
