Naturena, JHB: JMPD members were on patrol performing crime prevention duties…while patrolling on the M1 South, the officers spotted a blue Polo sedan driving recklessly. The vehicle was followed. The driver of the POLO ignored the attempts to stop them by the police, and attempted to flee from the officers, driving recklessly, weaving in and out of traffic. A high speed-chase continued for about 5 kilometers. The suspects finally pulled off on the N12 in Naturena. The four occupants were contained by the officers. The suspects were searched and on one suspect a silver pistol with filed off serial number was found in his waist. Another pistol was found in the waist of the second suspect, The serial number on the firearm was inquired and the firearm was reported robbed from the owner as per Parkview case. Arrest and seizures: four suspects arrested. Two pistols and ammunition seized. The men are linked to robberies. #crimewatch
