Shri I. S. Negi, Senior Economic Adviser, Department of Consumer Affairs, chaired a meeting with members of the Retailers Association of India to discuss retail prices of pulses. Big chain retailers were advised to reduce the retail prices of dals to pass on the benefits of reducing Mandi prices to the consumers. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Retailers Association of India and senior officials of DoCA.
