Human Resources & Admin Assistant Lagos Job Summary: The HR & Admin Assistant supports HR and administrative functions, ensuring efficient operations. Responsibilities include recruitment, employee relations, record-keeping, and general office administration. Key Responsibilities: Human Resources: • Recruitment: Post job ads, screen resumes, schedule interviews, and prepare offer letters. • Onboarding: Facilitate orientation, training schedules, and ensure paperwork completion. • Employee Records: Maintain employee records (physical & digital) while ensuring confidentiality. • Employee Relations: Assist with engagement activities, address employee queries, and escalate issues. • Compliance: Ensure adherence to labor laws and company policies, assist with reports and audits. Administrative: • Office Management: Oversee operations, maintain office supplies, and ensure a tidy workspace. • Communication: Manage emails, calls, correspondence, and act as a point of contact. • Scheduling: Arrange meetings, appointments, and travel for staff. • Documentation: Prepare/edit reports, maintain filing systems, and ensure document accessibility. • Support: Assist departments and contribute to company events and meetings. Qualifications: • High school diploma; degree in HR, Business Admin, or related field preferred. • Experience in HR/admin roles with strong organizational and communication skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; HR software knowledge is a plus. • Familiarity with labor laws and ability to handle confidential information. Skills: • Attention to detail, problem-solving, multitasking, and prioritization abilities. • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality. Working Conditions: • Office-based with standard hours; occasional overtime may be required. • Reports to: Administration Manager • Salary: Based on experience and qualifications.
