Straight Boys 34
*The story of five young people—two girls and three boys.*
Barrister Charles Louis returned to his office and sank into his chair. His gaze fell on the polished nameplate resting on his desk: Barrister Charles Louis. The weight of the title felt heavier today.
With a quiet sigh, he reached for the locker beside him, unlocking it with practiced ease. From within, he retrieved an old, worn journal—its leather cover softened by time. As he flipped it open, a faded photograph slipped from between the pages.
Five young faces smiled back at him—three boys, two girls nestled between them. Their eyes shone with the kind of unbreakable bond only the best of friends could share.
As he sat in his chair, he remembered their story. The memories played vividly in his mind—the last time they had seen each other.
Many Years Ago
There were three best friends—three boys who grew up in a very rich neighborhood. They were happy and liked each other. There was Francis, whose parents were very wealthy, and he was a bit proud. Then there was Kelvin whose sur name is kalu and sometimes called kk, who also came from a rich home, a nice guy but often living under Francis’s shadow. Finally, there was Charles, the son of the family lawyer for both Francis and Kelvin. Charles also later became a lawyer.
Not too far from the estate where the three boys lived were two girls. They came from different families, but they had grown up together—Amanda and Grace. Amanda found herself always falling in love with Francis, following him everywhere, always trying to get his attention. She had loved him since they were young and always wanted him for herself. Grace, on the other hand, was more reserved. She was quiet and never spoke much except when necessary. She loved books and studying—academically, she was the most intelligent among all of them.
They always spent time together and did things as a group, but the boys had secrets they never shared with the girls. The girls only visited the boys’ mansions in the evenings when they had free time. They were younger.
One secret had been going on for a very long time—Charles was a quiet boy who liked to be by himself, but Francis always dragged him out to play. Francis loved being in control, always wanting to be the center of attention.
Little did they know that Charles had a secret crush on Francis.
This secret remained hidden until it was time to go to the university.
Francis organized a party, inviting a lot of people. It was a grand celebration, especially for the youth. However, Charles and Kelvin were upstairs in a room, playing a game. They were not interested in drinking or dancing with the ladies downstairs, so they missed out on the party fun.
When the time came for everyone to leave, the boys stayed over at Francis’s house. Francis had planned to spend the night with one of the ladies, but she ran home because her parents wouldn’t allow a sleepover at a rich man’s house—anything could happen.
Francis fell onto the bed between the boys. He was a bit drunk, his breath reeking of alcohol. He had known for a while that Charles had feelings for him, but he never gave any sign that he would allow something to happen between them.
That night, as they slept, Francis pulled Charles closer.
In the darkness, he kissed Charles and began undressing him while undressing himself. He pleasured both of them at the same time.
He inserted his hands into his boxers. Charles knew this was Francis but he was sure if he knew what he was doing and because he had longed for this, he didn't want to stop him.
He was waiting for Francis to come to reality when he would finally grab the junk and realized it was not the one he was used to, the ladies.
But Francis got there and started fondling it. That was when Charles knew that his friend knew what he was doing.
So he allowed Francis to so everything they were both n@ked on the bed.
Suddenly, Kelvin woke up and saw what they were doing. Francis and Charles were afraid that he would say something, but Kelvin assumed it was just boys being boys. Instead of reacting negatively, he joined them.
He just took off his clothes started wanking and Francis kissed him. Then Charles got his mouth on his junk.
That night, they all helped each other get off and slept naked.
When they woke up in the morning, Francis tried to pretend that nothing had happened. But Charles got back on him and gave him oral pleasure. This became a secret between the boys—one they never shared with anyone else. It even brought them closer, making them spend even more time together.
But Charles had always known he was different. He had feelings for Francis for a long time.
One day, Amanda tried to present herself to Francis, but he wouldn’t touch her. It wasn’t that he didn’t like Amanda, but she was too forward. She always threw herself at him. She wanted to do anything possible to be with a rich family since she came from a less privileged background. However, Francis wasn’t willing to be with just anyone. Between the two girls, he preferred Grace.
But Kelvin had always loved Grace.
After the first secret encounter between the three boys, it happened two more times. They never had full intercourse; they just explored each other.
However, a fight broke out between Francis and Kelvin, and they stopped speaking to each other for a long time.
One day, Charles had just finished giving oral pleasure to Francis, while Kelvin was doing the same to him. And Francis was on Kelvin.
They had formed a three-way chain. Like a triangle.
After all three of them had climaxed, they lay on the bed, naked, staring at the ceiling.
Francis: "I wish it was Grace on top of me, not you, Charles. But I still like your tongue."
Kelvin: "Stay away from Grace, Francis. She’s too good for you. You can’t have all the girls in school and still want Grace. Grace is mine."
Francis: "You’ve been saying that for a long time. Grace is mine, Grace is mine. When will you actually have the guts to tell her?"
Kelvin: "I will tell her. We’ve just started talking more closely. I don’t rush things like you do."
Francis: "If you like, take your time. Every time you wait, I get closer to Grace. I’m giving you one week—if you don’t make a move, I will."
Charles: "Francis, I think, for the sake of our friendship, you should stay away from Grace. Just let Kelvin have his time. You’ve had more than twenty girls already—why do you need to add Grace?"

Francis: Just leave me and this guy for Grace matter—we are going to settle it out. Grace is one of the nicest girls around. I think she's still pure and untouched, and that is what I want for myself.
Charles: That is what I'm saying—you cannot have everybody for yourself.
Francis: Shut up your mouth. What do you know about women? And that's true—I’ve never seen you talk to any girl before or even move close to any girl. Are you sure you're not a f@got?
Charles: What did you just call me?
Francis: Yes, you heard what I said. After all, you're the one who initiated all of this. If not because of you, we wouldn't be doing this in the first place.
Charles: I think there's something wrong with your brain right now. I'm the one who initiated what? Are you not the one who came in drunk that night and started touching on all of us?
Kelvin: I'm not even sure he was drunk that night. He’s always wanted to do this with us. Stop talking nonsense. Why are you calling Charles names when you are the one who enjoyed this the most? You had both of us get down and serve you.
Francis: LOL! If you guys didn’t like it, you would have complained. But you guys like serving me—say the truth. I got the biggest one amongst the three of us, and you guys like to lick it a lot. I wonder why we are not doing the a$$ job.
Kelvin: See who just called someone names right now, asking for a$$ job. I do not blame you.
Kelvin and Charles left the place; they were angry with Francis, and that was how the problem started. After that, the three of them went to school abroad, leaving the two girls in Nigeria. They were in different schools until four years later when the three boys came back and served the country in compulsory service.
But Grace and Amanda were still students in a Nigerian university. They had not finished—it was not as fast as those who went abroad immediately after secondary school without having to spend years writing all the exams before getting into higher education.
Francis planned the reunion, asking Kelvin to forgive him and also asking Charles to come back. The three of them met together, and they were happy to see each other. Though they did not do the acts again at that particular time, Kelvin would not let Grace be.
He was always after her. She had just started university—she was still in university at that time, and she was very young. And he would drive to her school to find her.
Francis was already engaged to a girl of an upper class, and they got married immediately after he came back from abroad. This did not go down well with Amanda, who had loved him all her life.
Although, two years after that, she also got married and had a child—a young boy. But she still loved Francis, and Francis found a way to start loving her back. After her long persuasions.
Sometimes, when Francis and his wife found out that they could not have any children, they had to look for a way to have a child. His wife’s womb was not strong enough to bear children, so they had to find another way. Amanda offered to be a surrogate mother for them. The doctor spoke about artificial insemination, but she decided that she was going to do it on her own at her own time, and they should wait for results.
But her plan was for Francis to come and fertilize her the natural way—which he did. That was how she conceived their first son. Her married husband and child did not know about this development. She just told them she got a job somewhere and had to go stay there, where she was being paid good money. Because her husband was not rich enough, she was bringing money home for them, taking care of her husband and her son.
She gave birth to the first son of Francis and his wife and gave the child to them on the condition that she would stay in their house and raise the child as the nanny, which they agreed to. She raised the boy for them. A few years down the line, she got pregnant again. To everyone, it was her husband's baby, but to her, it was Francis' other baby.
She did not go home for about two years because she did not want her husband and her child to find out that she was pregnant and had another baby. So she kept the baby in the house and always traveled to visit her husband and her child, stayed a few months with them before returning back to work.
When she took care of her other son, the family lawyer was Charles, so he knew about everything. It was a secret between Francis, Charles, and Amanda.
But Kelvin had a secret too. He had impregnated Grace while she was still in school. He had to go abroad for a long course, and his parents got him married to a rich girl from a wealthy home before bringing him back.
When he returned, he learned that Grace was pregnant, but up to now, he couldn't find both Grace and the baby.
Francis lost his wife—she had died of a rare disease. So Amanda raised both her sons without either of them knowing that they were born of the same father and the same mother.
Yes, Dare and Emma were both born of Amanda and Francis. Meanwhile, Kelvin had been looking for Grace and the child she had for him. That was why he had seen Martin and recognized KK from his face. Though he had not been in touch with KK for a long time, he had been in touch with Francis.
He remembered his last conversation with Francis.
Francis: Charles, I hope you're not angry with me for the things I said to you when we were young.
Charles: We were just being stupid boys. We are all grown up now—we have our families and work to do.
Francis: I have a confession to make. Do you know all those times when we were young, I also had feelings for you? I slept with all those girls not because I really wanted to—I was trying to kill the feeling out of my body. But no matter how many of them I slept with, I've always really liked you.
Charles: Medicine after death. I know you lied to me, and I liked you too. But it's all gone now. Don't expect an old man like me to come and start getting down on you—haha! 😂 😂

Ten Years Ago
Francis: I need you to read my will ten years later and make sure the two boys live together in the same house. You must find a way for them to bond so that when you break the news to them, it won’t come as a shock."
Charles: "I’m not going to read a will and simply tell them a story about what happened. You have to make a video of yourself explaining it to them personally."
Francis: "Yes, I have already done that. I’ve placed the recording inside this envelope along with the will. I have also divided my properties."
Charles: "What makes you so sure you won’t be here in the next ten years? Is there something you’re not telling me?"
Francis: "Charles, it’s cancer. The doctors have already calculated my time. Please, take care of these boys."
Charles: "I will." My dear friend
And they both hugged each other Francis kissed his old friend once again.
Francis: if I was free and knowledgeable I would have married you.
Charles: 😂😂😂😂😂 so you will be drilling me with your big machine all my life ? No way 😂😂😂
That was the last thing Francis said before the news came that he had passed away.
Charles had to do everything within his power to keep the boys together. As he sat in his office, reminiscing about those moments, tears rolled down his face.
Suddenly, he remembered the employment records of those who had lived in the mansion. He went through them, hoping to find the address of Amanda's husband and child—the ones she had left behind. And finally, he found it.
Back to the Present Day
We made lots of food for Emma. He was so happy to be with us, and we welcomed him like a king. The joy on his face was unmistakable. Everything was going well.
Tunde: "I need your help. We have to plan this wedding. All of us will be attending, and I have written down everything needed to prepare the food for all the girls. We are going to cook it ourselves."
Me: "How can we cook all the food by ourselves? What about the people who are already working there? Won’t they find it unnecessary or even offensive?"
Tunde: "Wasn’t it just yesterday—or when was it?—that you were telling me about us opening a restaurant? Let’s take this as a test run and see how hard it is. If we believe we can do it, then I will pursue the dream you planted in my head."
I smiled.
Me: "Oh, I want to plant more than a dream in your head. I want to plant something else—on your face and in your head."
Tunde: "You are an idiot. A big fool! So you can actually talk dirty? If I ask you now, you’ll start acting all holy. See you talking dirty just because everyone is happy!"
Me: "Yeah, everyone is happy—except for Martin. He nearly beat me up today in the hospital just because I asked him to find out who his father is. That’s what led to all these insults directed at me."
Tunde: "I’m really sorry you feel that way, but if you ask me, I stand with Martin. Some people are better left unfound. Let them be who they are. They were never there before, so why go searching for them now? Sometimes, it's best to leave the past alone."
Me: "It’s not just about that. What if it’s my own father? Or your own? What if you messed up with a girl before and later found out she was your relative? How would you feel?"
Tunde: "I understand where you’re coming from, but at the same time, some things are better left unknown—just my point of view."
Me: "I don’t like that perspective. I know what I’m saying, and I’m certain about it. I don’t like mixing blood carelessly."
Tunde: "Yeah, I understand you, babe."
I turned and looked at him in surprise. That was the first time I had ever heard him say that word, and for the first time, I felt shy.
Me: "What did you just say now? 😂 😂 😂!"
Tunde: "Should I repeat it? 😂 😂 😂
Me: "Get out of here!"
Tunde: "Why are you blushing? Look at your yellow face turning red!"
Me: "Leave me alone! I’ll involve Mustafa in this. Let’s draw a plan for preparing for that wedding. That wedding is going to be our first trial at running a restaurant. At least, if we make enough money, we might be able to pay everyone."
Tunde: "I trust you, my Igbo millionaire!"
Me: "What did you say?"
Tunde: "Sorry, my billionaire!"
Me: "Thank you. That’s more like it. Hahaha!"
We went inside, but I stepped out to take a phone call.
Me: "Hello?"
Chief: "Hello, young man. How are you doing?"
Me: "I’m fine, sir. Thank you very much."
Chief: "There’s been a slight delay with the payment. Moving large amounts of money through the bank requires a lot of clearance. Transferring it to your account won’t be very easy, but it will be done in three days or less. I just wanted to update you."
Me: "Oh, all right. That’s fine. And since it’s not going directly into my account, should I call the young man involved? That should be Larry."
Chief: "No, I’m more interested in speaking with you than with him. You seem more coordinated and understand the policies of life better. Yes, we will move the money soon, and when we do, I’ll inform you."
Me: "All right, sir. Thank you very much."
Immediately after that call, my father called me.
Papa Emeka: "Hello, son. How are you?"
Me: "I’m fine, Dad. How are you?"
Papa Emeka: "Oh, we thank God. I haven’t seen you or your friend. I hope you people haven’t spent the money carelessly?"
Me: "No, Dad. We’re coming this evening to see you."
Papa Emeka: "All right, I’ll be expecting you."
Me: "Okay, Dad."
I dropped the call and went inside to join the others. We were so happy, eating and drinking together..
Morals
Know Who You Seek Help From – Getting help is good, but always be cautious about where and from whom you receive it. Some people help to lift you up, while others do so for their own hidden agenda.
Friendship Can Be Stronger Than Blood – Sometimes, the bond of friendship is even stronger than that of brotherhood. Some friendships are more tightly woven than family ties. Ask yourself: Are you truly close with your friends right now? Do not let petty fights over a girl, a boy, or any misunderstanding destroy a strong friendship.
We Are All Connected – No matter how different we seem, we are all linked in the web of life. Our actions affect those around us in ways we may not immediately see.
