Chennai-based ePlane Company has partnered with ICATT - Indian air ambulance service, to supply 788 eVTOL air ambulances in a deal worth over $1 billion. This agreement, will deploy electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft across India, enabling rapid emergency response and addressing critical healthcare logistical challenges. The e200x eVTOL, capable of rooftop take-off and significantly faster than ground transport, will be central to this initiative.
