On Feb 25, 2025, Southwest Airlines Flight 2504 narrowly avoided a collision with a private business jet at Chicago’s Midway International Airport. The flight, descending for landing, had to abort its approach to avoid the Bombardier Challenger 350, which was incorrectly taxiing onto the runway. The pilots quickly executed a go-around, ascending just 250 feet above the private jet, preventing a potential disaster.
