ALPA India has formally raised concerns with the Civil Aviation Ministry about the financial burdens imposed on trainee pilots by airlines. In a letter dated February 24, ALPA India described the high fees for pilot training programs as "unscrupulous exploitation" and claimed that airlines are charging amounts far exceeding the actual cost of training.
