Delhi International Airport Ltd (DIAL), the operator of Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA), has proposed a significant increase in the User Development Fee (UDF) for certain categories of passengers to recover infrastructure investment costs and manage peak-hour congestion. The proposed hike includes raising the UDF for domestic passengers from ₹52 to ₹610 and up to ₹1,620 for international travelers, with higher charges during peak hours. Additionally, DIAL has suggested implementing a UDF for arriving passengers, which would further increase the cost of air travel through IGIA. ▶️Know more - https://aviationtoday.in/civilaviation/airports/flights-to-get-costlier-delhi-airport-wants-you-to-pay-more-with-new-udf-hike-proposal/
