Good evening everyone, Apologies I am sending this message on this platform, I hope the admin would please indulge me. A case has just come to my attention of a brother - working as a nurse in the NHS- who was caught by the police driving under the influence of Alcohol. The saddest part of this is that this brother is on sponsorship visa(COS). Because of the nature of his job, he was reported to his employer & of course, he was fired immediately. He won't be able to get another job in h/care, certainly not nursing and his visa will now be curtailed. This young man is married with two children & the police are even taking the case to court for 1)drink driving 2)endangering the life of a minor because his children were in the car when he was stopped by police. I am putting it here not to preach to you about drinking alcohol. However I am begging you as a brother, please if you drink (alcohol)Do not Drive. The consequences for this brother is that due to his actions he would have to move his family back to Nigeria. However that is even a better outcome compared to if he had an accident and killed his family in the car or other road users. Have a great week everyone
