#budget2025 🔓 This week, the cabinet granted approval to make nearly 7,500 recruitments to several government institutions. Sri Lanka's public sector already employs 16% of the entire workforce—one of the highest percentages in South & South-East Asia—with nearly one-third of government revenue spent on public sector wages in 2023.
