*Be Mindful Of Your Words* You must be conscious of the way you speak because your words are able to condemn or acquit you at the end. Matthew 12:37 says: For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.” This is why you must be mindful of what you say. Speaking carelessly multiplies sin, too much words lead to sin. Proverbs 10:19a says: When words are many, sin is not absent. One of the ways to do away with sin is to tame your tongue and not speak too much. One of the ways to stop speaking too many words is to be slow to speak. The Bible encourages us to do so in James 1:19. Slowing to speak will help you to think of the words you are about to say, whether it will be a word that God supports or a word that is against His will. Matthew 12:36 says: But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken.
