Krishna Prasad On being awarded a Ph.D degree for his research on “The Effect of Activated and Flux bounded TIG Welding on the Structure-Property Correlation and Corrosion Behaviour in Aluminium 5083 and Stainless Steel AISI 304”. Krishnaprasad S, AGM, Cochin Shipyard, is the first officer from Cochin Shipyard to receive a Ph.D from CUSAT. The doctoral degree is a result of the university's pioneering efforts in Industry-Institute collaboration and an MoU inked with Cochin Shipyard Ltd.
