Certain Nations Seek Discord Between IEA and Global Community
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan has responded to the remarks made by Pakistan's representative at the United Nations Security Council, stating that certain nations are attempting to sow distrust between the Islamic Emirate and the global community.
Abdul Qahar Balkhi, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, dismissed the claims made by Pakistan's representative regarding potential threats from Afghanistan to regional and global security as unfounded. He emphasized that since the Islamic Emirate assumed power in Afghanistan, no threats have emanated from the country toward others. He also noted that those responsible for security incidents in Afghanistan have entered the country through unofficial channels.
The spokesperson further asserted that instead of revising their own policies to ensure security and economic stability, some countries are actively working to destabilize Afghanistan.
Mr. Balkhi also highlighted that despite decades of conflict, Afghanistan is now experiencing peace and security, and its economic progress cannot be hindered, even in the face of unsuccessful attempts to do so.
