Assailant neutralized before reaching target in Kabul Mufti Abdul Matin Qane, spokesperson for the Interior Ministry, informed Hurriyet Radio that an assailant was neutralized before reaching the entrance of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development. The spokesperson stated that the event occurred earlier today, before noon, and the attacker was thwarted by the ministry's security personnel. Mr. Qane mentioned that the individual was carrying explosives and was shot before the explosives detonated, resulting in the death of one person and injuries to three others.
