Over 2 Tons of Drugs Seized in Spin Boldak As per media office of the Kandahar provincial government the security forces, in a series of operations in the Saro Chahan area of Spin Boldak district, seized 2,195 kilograms of narcotics.  According to officials cited by the source, the confiscated narcotics comprised 2,123 kilograms of hashish and the remaining 72 kilograms of opium.  Furthermore, the statement mentioned that in the preceding week, security forces in Shorabak district intercepted over 4,000 kilograms of narcotics close to the imaginary boundary of the fifth district within the same region through a series of reconnaissance missions.  It is noteworthy that since the emergence of the Islamic Emirate in the country, a vigorous campaign has been launched against narcotics, leading to the apprehension of individuals involved in such activities who have been handed over to the authorities.
