Time alone doesn’t magically erase pain or trauma. It can create distance, but healing is an active process. It’s about what you do in that time: processing emotions, seeking support, and finding ways to move forward.
Time can dull the edges of hurt, but without addressing the root of the pain, those wounds can linger beneath the surface. Healing isn’t passive; it’s about growth, understanding, and sometimes, a little bit of patience. So, while time can be a helpful companion, it’s not the whole cure.
Sometimes, time can even deepen wounds if they’re left unattended, turning them into scars that affect how we lice. Healing requires effort, patience, and often, a willingness to face discomfort. It’s a journey, not a waiting game.
“Just give it time,” remember: it’s not just about waiting. It’s about what you choose to do in that time that determines how well the wounds will heal.
