Sector Education and Training Authorities (SETAs) are organizations in South Africa responsible for managing and implementing the National Skills Development Strategy (NSDS) within specific economic sectors. The main goals of SETAs are: 1. To address skills shortages and gaps in specific sectors. 2. To improve the quality and relevance of training programs. 3. To increase access to education and training opportunities. 4. To promote skills development and lifelong learning. SETAs achieve these goals by: 1. Identifying sector skills needs. 2.
