*🚨 The Dumbest Mistakes of Crypto Newbies 🚨*
Let’s be real — everyone makes mistakes when they first get into crypto. But some of them are so bad they make you want to throw your laptop out the window. Here are five classic rookie errors you should never make.
*1️⃣ Sharing Your Seed Phrase Like It’s No Big Deal*
Your seed phrase is like the key to your vault. But some newbies think it’s okay to send it to “tech support” on Telegram or screenshot it for later.
> Spoiler: if someone gets your seed phrase, your crypto is gone forever. Write it down. Keep it safe. Tell no one.
*2️⃣ Not Checking the Wallet Address Before Sending*
One wrong character, and _poof_ — your funds are lost in blockchain limbo forever. Worse, some malware even changes copied addresses. Always double-check before hitting "send."
*3️⃣ Keeping All Your Crypto on an Exchange*
Not your keys, not your coins. Exchanges get hacked. They go bankrupt. And sometimes, they just decide to freeze withdrawals for fun. Get a hardware wallet and keep your long-term holdings safe.
*4️⃣ Using Weak Passwords and No 2FA*
If your crypto wallet password is password123, you might as well just hand your funds to a hacker. Also, not using two-factor authentication (2FA) is like leaving your house unlocked. Secure your accounts properly, or you’ll learn the hard way.
*5️⃣ Sending Crypto to the Wrong Network*
Trying to send ERC-20 tokens to a BSC address? Congrats, you just made your funds disappear. Always check the network you’re using — Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, Polygon… they are NOT the same thing.
