📕 Book Review - The Legacy of the Ulama of Deoband by Mawlānā Moosa Kajee and Mawlānā Imraan Kajee (May Allāh preserve them) The Prophet Muhammad (Sallallāhu-Alaihi-Wa-Sallam) has said - “In every generation, the religion will be shouldered by the vital center. They will refute the misinterpretations of the extremists, the irresponsibility of the laxed and the false interpretations of the ignorant”. (Bayhaqi, Mishkaat) I really enjoyed this book. This was a great book for understanding the true reason and purpose of the scholars in India to build such an institution which overtime spread to every corner in the world.  This book outlines the history of Darul Uloom Deoband, the services it has rendered in different spheres, its acceptance, the qualities and ideologies of the savants of this Madrasah, and a brief summary of its aims and objectives.
