Sperm color can give clues about health, but it’s not a perfect diagnostic tool. Normal semen is whitish or slightly grayish. Changes in color may indicate underlying conditions: 🔹 Yellowish semen – Could be due to urine mixing, infections, or high white blood cells. 🔹 Greenish semen – May signal infection (e.g., STIs, prostatitis). 🔹 Reddish or brown semen – Might be due to blood in semen (hematospermia), caused by infections, injury, or inflammation. 🔹 Clear semen – May be normal but could also suggest low sperm count in some cases. Sperm color alone doesn’t confirm diseases—other symptoms and medical tests are needed. What Should You Do? 🔹 Occasional changes? No worries. 🔹 Persistent color changes + pain/discomfort? See a doctor!
