2️⃣. He is the one who makes a believer become CONFIDENT enough; and thus be in a position to tell the Devil "No". FACT The devil has no BODY, so he takes advantage of the sinful nature (FLESH) that usually works against the SPIRIT of God. But we can never tell him a *"NO"* unless the Holy spirit gives us that confidence. QUOTE To walk the salvation journey in accordance with God's will, one must overcome the flesh by telling the ENEMY *"No"*. But we can't tell him so unless the Holy spirit helps you to do away with FEAR. And instead become confident. Rom.8.15 For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. And by him we cry, "Abba, Father." (NIV)
