The evil, shameless hypocritical dictator casually says that Dr. Besigye should have demanded a quick trial instead of going on hunger strike in protest of his continued illegal detention. He adds that the military court was ready to conduct the (illegal) trial! Yet, it is the same Museveni who has ensured that NUP supporters spend FOUR YEARS in detention without trial. Four years! All this while, no evidence has been brought against these young people, no witnesses to pin them for any wrongdoing. Instead, his operatives have been visiting them to compel them to plead guilty to crimes they did not commit with promises of money and jobs. So what quick trial is he talking about?!
