Dr Kizza Besigye was earning well as a doctor at Aga Khan hospital in Nairobi and Kenyatta national hospital when he decided to go to the bush to become the personal Doctor to the then guerrilla leader Yoweri Kaguta Museveni. In 1982, despite the good paying and free food and accommodation, Kizza resigned from his job in Nairobi and headed to the bush where he became a personal doctor to guerrilla leader for free. His job was to treat injuried fighters. Despite not being pay. He struggled and tried harder until Yoweri Kaguta came to power. Now he is being persecuted and put into prison by same guerrilla leader that he brought to power. He is not even given food to eat in the prison. May his struggle for better Uganda be glorify by the upcoming generation.
