04 February 2025 In Bhagavad Gita 9.24, Krishna, declares that He (as Brahman) is the ultimate recipient of all yajñas. Though people worship various deities, all offerings ultimately reach Him. Those who fail to recognize His true nature as Brahman remain trapped in the cycle of karma and samsara. Swami Paramarthananda explains that ignorance of Ishvara’s essence leads to spiritual stagnation, while understanding Brahman as the substratum of all actions brings liberation. Knowing this truth frees one from seeking fleeting rewards and allows one to abide in the eternal bliss of self-knowledge and freedom from bondage.
