Swami Paramarthananda explains that one reaches whatever they worship. Worshipping gods leads to devaloka, ancestors to pitṛloka, and spirits to lower realms, but only devotion to Brahman leads to mokṣa (liberation).
Finite worship gives temporary results, keeping one bound to saṃsāra l. True fulfillment comes from seeking Self-Knowledge, realizing Brahman as one’s infinite nature beyond birth and death.
If you desire eternal freedom, turn towards Brahman—not perishable entities. Liberation is not about reaching a heavenly realm but transcending all limitations through knowledge of the Supreme Reality.
