Even among all dhyanayōgis that faithful one who meditates upon ME with mind absorbed in Me is considered by Me as the best Yōgi.
In the previous verse Krishna only said the meditator is the greatest sadhaka. This verse clarifies, what the meditation must be on. When we sit in meditation what normally comes to mind are thoughts related to mundane things. Some skill is required to meditate on deities with a particular form. The person who meditates on Atma with dedication is the greatest sadhaka.
