27 February 2025 In Bhagavad Gita 12th chapter, Lord Krishna provides a step-by-step approach to spiritual progress, offering a “ladder of Sadhana” that accommodates people at different levels of spiritual evolution. His approach is compassionate and practical, making it easier for spiritual seekers to ascend toward liberation. Krishna initially recommends Abhyāsa Yoga, the practice of constant devotion and meditation on God. However, He understands that not everyone can maintain such a high level of concentration. Therefore, He offers progressively simpler alternatives: Verse XII.10 suggests - If one struggles with regular devotional practices, then perform all duties selflessly. By surrendering the fruits of one’s work to God, a seeker develops detachment and gradually attains spiritual perfection.
