Advaita Vedanta teaches Brahman alone is real, the world is an appearance, and the individual self is Brahman. However, merely knowing this intellectually is not Jnana Yoga—true realization requires mental purity, which Karma Yoga provides.
Many struggle with Jnana Yoga due to attachments and ego. Devotion plays a key role in transforming actions into worship, reducing desires, and cultivating surrender. When karma is done selflessly, the mind becomes pure and ready for self-inquiry. This leads to Jnana Yoga, where one realizes Aham Brahmasmi, attaining liberation.
