Position: Solar Panel Installer

Industry: Renewable Energy / Solar Job Summary: The Solar Panel Installer is responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining solar PV systems on rooftops and ground-mounted structures. They work with engineers and designers to ensure proper placement and secure installation of solar panels for optimal performance. Key Responsibilities: * Install solar panels, mounting structures, inverters, and electrical wiring. * Conduct site inspections to prepare for installation. * Perform roof and ground mounting system installations safely and efficiently. * Connect solar panels to inverters, charge controllers, and battery storage systems. * Ensure all installations meet local electrical codes, safety standards, and manufacturer guidelines. * Troubleshoot wiring issues, inverter problems, and performance concerns. * Perform testing and commissioning of solar PV systems. * Work at heights and use power tools safely. * Maintain installation records and reports for compliance and performance tracking. Qualifications & Skills: * Diploma or certification in Electrical Installation, Renewable Energy, or a related field. * Experience in solar panel installation (4+years preferred). * Familiarity with solar inverters, electrical wiring, and battery storage systems. * Ability to work at heights and in outdoor conditions. * Knowledge of electrical safety procedures and local regulations. * Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills.
