Africa 🌍 Defense Pact of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) The pact stipulates that if a SADC member state is attacked, the others can react collectively to defend regional security and stability. An extraordinary meeting of the SADC will be held tomorrow in Harare, Zimbabwe, focused on the conflict in Goma, DR Congo. The member states will deliberate on how to deal with the situation.
