💥 *The Renewed Hope Global Town Hall Virtual Conference* 💥
*Thank You All, Once Again*
Following on our hugely successful first virtual conference of the year on 18th January 2025 with the attendance of several VVIPs, which includes the Chief of Staff to *President Tinubu,* the *Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila,* and Honourable Ministers as well as other top dignitaries from this administration, we had another hugely successful conference yesterday with another top shot from this Renewed Hope administration in what is fast becoming back-to-back successes for our weekly *The Renewed Hope Global Virtual Town Hall Conference.*
Due to the impactful conference of yesterday which was buoyed by the performance of our very articulate special guest and the VVIPs that graced the Parley with their surprise appearance, the video clip above from the conference is a bit longer as it captures many highlights of the day. The video is a "MUST WATCH. I advise everyone to please watch it to the end to grasp the essence of the conference.
Our special guest yesterday, the cerebral Hon. Minister of State for Industry, *Senator John Owan Enoh,* apart from the fact that he joined the conference 15 minutes before the allotted time, which on its own is another testament to our often bandied receptive nature and sense of responsibility of our current leaders in Nigeria, he was in his usual top form yesterday before and during the Q & A session during which he educated Nigerians across the globe regarding the policies of this government geared towards driving industrial transformation for a prosperous Nigeria under the Renewed Hope Administration of the President.
He started by highlighting the fact that the administration of *President Tinubu* came in with an 8-point addenda. The 7th agenda falls into the key objectives of the administration, one of which is the industrialisation of this country as the panacea for economic growth consequent upon which during the last cabinet reshuffle, the President assigned not one, but 2 Ministers to the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade & Investment. Our special guest is the Minister for Industry and is saddled with the exclusive agenda of ensuring acceleration of industrialisation through digitalisation economy, manufacturing, and innovative technology.
His responsibility also includes creating and maintaining an enabling environment for trade and investment, increasing domestic and foreign direct investment as well as boosting trade revenue, and encouraging export-led job creation.
This Renewed Hope government, according to our special guest is also encouraging local capacity and local assembly of automotive industry through provision of incentives to local manufacturers through the Bank of Industry as well as providing loans for micro and small enterprises with single digit interest rates.
Also revealing is his visit to the Savé Sugar Company in the republic of Benin, which was the first time a Nigerian Minister has visited the facility since its inception in 1975 and is currently on its knees due to years of mismanagement and neglect. He added that joint committees from Nigeria and the Republic of Benin to investigate the issues surrounding the sugar company and proffer workable solutions which includes, but not limited to, finding suitable investors to revive the struggling facility. The move by the Hon. Minister who informed the conference that his main focus is about driving industrial competitiveness and sustainable growth in Nigeria underscores the importance of the venture to both nations.
In another preparation meeting opportunity scenario that has become the hallmark of our weekly Parley, our special guest gave an open invitation to *Dr. Isaac Inyang,* NIDO Chieftain in Egypt to meet with him in Abuja to pitch his proposal to *add value to Nigeria and the Renewed Hope Agenda of this administration.
The rave reviews from participants and from amongst millions of viewers on BEN TV and across other various social media channels attests to the performance of the Honourable Minister in his official capacity and at the conference.
In attestation to the global brand of our weekly virtual conference, we had yet again important highlights of the virtual conference with the continued appearance of VVIPs that attended from the presidency and from global government officials. The Secretary to the Federal Government of Nigeria (SGF), *Sen. Dr. George Akume. CON;* our Grand Patron and Senior Counsel to *President Tinubu,* *Hon. Babatunde Ogala SAN, FNIM, Fbr, FIMC,* the Director-General/CEO of the Energy Commission of Nigeria, *Dr. Mustapha Abdullahi,* as well as the UK Trade Envoy to Nigeria, *Florence Eshalomi MP,* a notable British politician representing Vauxhall and Camberwell Green, to whom I owe a huge apology for not recognising her presence at the conference. Due to the flurry of activities during the conference, I missed the message from my co-host regarding her attendance until after the conference. Your presence means a lot to us at the *Renewed Hope Global Virtual Town Hall Conference,* I apologise unreservedly for that oversight. It is our policy and custom to always recognise the presence of important dignitaries at our weekly Parley.
This is another testament that your much-loved weekly Parley has truly become a global brand attracting the movers of shakers of not only the Nigerian government but global government dignitaries. We are humbled and appreciative of this phenomenon that started last year but have taken a new dimension this year with special dignitaries attending our conference every week.
In the words of our Grand Patron and Senior Counsel to *President Tinubu,* *Hon. Babatunde Ogala SAN, FNIM, Fbr, FIMC,* “This is the first group to provide such platform of direct engagement with our leaders and encourages us to continue doing what we are doing which he said is very commendable. He added that the President and the Vice-President are ardent supporters of the weekly Parley, and one of them might appear at the conference anytime this year.” All I can say to our followers on this platform is: *Watch this space.* That day will be the highest highlight of the Renewed Hope Global Virtual Town Hall Conference and we will be more than happy to host either of them at their convenience, just as I am sure Nigerians across the globe will be chuffed to have either of them come on to address us on the state of the nation.
This has further strengthened our resolve to continue to *add value* to the Renewed Hope Administration of *President Tinubu,* as well as countering the malicious and false narratives about Nigeria on social media through our veritable platform of the weekly virtual conference.
We appreciate the appearances of VVIPs who always join the conference every week. Same goes for our participants as well as millions of followers who has been the rock upon which we rely and from whom we derive our strengths to keep bringing to the world our leaders in a heart-to-heart engagement every week. We say thank you to everyone. We promise to continue to be of good service to you and to our country, Nigeria.
We also appreciate our Media Partners: *BEN TV UK,* led by its CEO, *Alistair Soyode,* *The Reflectors Newspaper, Nigeria,* and the *Parrot Reporters Media Limited, South Africa,* led by its CEO, Hon. Babarinde. Your continued support plays a part in our success in this journey of showcasing the best of Nigeria to the wider world.
I wish to reiterate my usual plea to Nigerians at home and abroad to continue to support this administration believing that the innovative reforms being implemented by this government even though it comes with temporary hardship, they are reforms necessary to lead the country to greatness soon. We are nearer to the promised land than ever before.
What we need are the 4 Ps, (Patience, Perseverance, Patriotism and Prayers for our leaders) as all indices point to a country on the right trajectory leading to a time of refreshing.
In the next few days, we will be posting details of our VVIP for next week. Kindly help share the e-flyer with family, friends, and acquaintances once it is posted online.
We all need to do our little bit to make Nigeria great again.
