Operation Gerok – January 31, 2025 On the night of January 31, 2025, the Baloch Nationalist Army carried out (Operation Gerok) in Iranian-occupied Balochistan, simultaneously destroying five enemy surveillance communication towers and damaging a fuel tanker belonging to the terrorist Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of the Iranian occupiers. This operation, based on precise intelligence provided by the (Maalik Intelligence Unit) of the Baloch Nationalist Army, was executed simultaneously in six different locations across occupied Balochistan. In Operation Gerok, enemy communication towers—disguised as civilian infrastructure but actually used for espionage—were set ablaze and destroyed by Baloch Nationalist Army fighters in the regions of Aptar Pehra, Aznababad Magas, Chandokan Kasr-e-Kand, Dasht Aap Khash, Bagpan Magas, and near Maskutan Fanouj. In a separate attack, a fuel tanker belonging to the Iranian terrorist IRGC was targeted by Baloch Nationalist Army fighters while traveling on the Nikshahr-Chabahar transit route toward the colonial border, inflicting damage. The Baloch Nationalist Army warns all drivers transporting fuel, construction materials, and other goods under the control of the IRGC to refrain from traveling on occupied Balochistan’s highways toward colonial ports and artificial borders. Failure to comply will make them responsible for any consequences. During Operation Gerok, the (Maalik Intelligence Unit) of the Baloch Nationalist Army played a crucial role in the mission’s success by using modern technology and guerrilla warfare tactics, despite continuous nighttime surveillance flights by Iranian spy drones. The Baloch Nationalist Army reminds the world that since 1928, following its occupation of Western Balochistan, the Iranian regime has been engaged in systematic genocide, cultural erasure, and the geographical fragmentation of Balochistan. Through Operation Gerok, we send a clear message to the Iranian occupiers and the global community: Baloch people will defend their land by any means necessary and are neither unskilled nor inexperienced in modern warfare tactics. The Baloch Nationalist Army calls on the international community to recognize this conflict as the struggle of an occupied nation against colonial rule and exploitation and to stand with the oppressed Baloch nation. Iran is a terrorist state, whose brutal and terroristic actions have become evident to the international community. Beyond its global terrorist activities, Iran has been committing genocide against the Baloch people for years under false accusations such as fuel and goods smuggling, drug trafficking, and membership in so-called anti-revolutionary groups. The Baloch Nationalist Army issues a strict warning to domestic and foreign investors, including Baloch and non-Baloch individuals, Iranian and international entities, who are collaborating with the Iranian occupiers. We urge them not to invest in colonial projects run by the Iranian occupation regime, as Balochistan is a war zone under occupation, where the Baloch people suffer extreme oppression and exploitation. The Baloch Nationalist Army declares that until Balochistan gains its independence, we will intensify attacks on military forces, colonial projects, espionage infrastructure, and all facilitators of both Iranian and Pakistani occupation.
