*Testing for HIV with your partner and immediately engage in sexual activity is VERY UNSAFE🚨.* When that strip turns negative on the first time, it doesn’t mean that the person is HIV Negative. Let us learn something today👇🏾: We have “window period” which simply means the time from which you acquire the virus to the time it can be detected on a test. This time normally takes about 3 months. The reason your Doctors have always encouraged you to re-test after 3months whenever you go for HIV testing. This means that, if I acquired a virus within a month time, week time, few days back and I get tested, the test will show NEGATIVE. 🔴However, I will be able to infect others because I have the virus in me (and it’s very active) regardless of the negative test. So to you people who test and “eat”immediately because the strips have said Negative, you’re blind walking and anytime you will fall. PLEASE AVOID THAT RECKLESS LIFE.
