DEVOTIONAL 00037 FIRSTBORN WOMEN: BREAKING FREE FROM EXPECTATIONS MAIN TEXT: Galatians 1:10 "Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ." Rich Lady, from the moment you were born, expectations were placed on you—be responsible, be mature, be the example. But did God anoint you to meet expectations or to fulfill destiny? Jesus, the Firstborn among many brethren (Romans 8:29), did not live to please people. He obeyed the Father, even when it meant disappointing those around Him. If Jesus had surrendered to human expectations, the cross would have never happened. Your call is not to impress but to impact. Your purpose is not to satisfy people’s demands but to satisfy God’s will. It’s time to RESET: Pleasing God is your only assignment You are chosen, not chained to expectations You do not need approval to walk in purpose Let go of the need to be everything for everyone and step boldly into God’s validation alone!
