VASANT PANCHMI: Vasant Panchami is celebrated on fifth day of Shukla Paksha of Magh. Mata Saraswati, the giver of knowledge, worshipped with yellow flowers, Gulal, water offerings, incense, lamp etc. Panchami is also celebrated as the birthday of Mata Saraswati.
