I have submitted a proposal to the BMC outlining key measures to improve Colaba’s infrastructure and address its needs. My BMC proposal details infrastructure improvements for Colaba, a vital district of Mumbai that houses iconic institutions such as Mantralaya and the Bombay High Court.
The ₹100-crore proposal includes underground parking facilities to ease congestion near historic landmarks, particularly in light of the proposed “No parking space, no vehicle” policy.
Additionally, a dedicated women’s garden at Deepak Jog Chowk, named in honour of Smt. Sushma Swaraj, will provide a safe and serene space in Colaba.
These initiatives mark a significant step towards unlocking Colaba’s full potential, ensuring it remains a vibrant, inclusive, and sustainable part of our city. My commitment to the betterment of Colaba and its people continues to drive every effort.
